Kindergarten
I gave you a warm greeting and a smile
As you entered my room today
For I know how hard it is to leave
And know that your child must stay
You've been with your child for many years now
And have been a loving guide
But now, alas, the time has come
To leave your child at my side
Just know that as you walk away
And tears down your cheeks may flow
I'll care for your child as I would my own
And help your child to learn and grow
So please put your mind at ease
And have those worries no more
For I will be there for your child
When you leave your child at my door
